Philippines so far… A group of 4 men set out on Monday April 9, 2012 leaving San Francisco for a layover in Seoul Korea then finally to their destination of the Philippines, where they will be working with Bro Abner for 12 days, helping with VBS and youth camp. The group consists of Cole Howard, Gary Weidenbach, Kevin Bollinger, and Mike Ryan. A small but mighty group! They arrived in the Philippines at about 2am on April 10th and had to get to the missionaries house to “rest” a bit until they would have to be awake at 7am to start their first VBS!! What a whirlwind! I don’t know about the other guys but Cole cannot sleep on airplanes so he has been awake for a very long time, hoping that 5 hours of rest will help, if not the 5 hour energy he took should :) I am just so happy to say they made it safe and sound and more wonderful things to come!!
