The real day 2 of vbs

7-3-2013
The day of uncertainties, the youth from the church has to take college entrance exams in the morning so we will only have morning VBS on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and evening VBS on Wednesday and Friday. Since we are still not able to go to the orphanage we didn't have anything planned to do on Wednesday until VBS in the evening. So we decided to make the most of our time and run some errands. We picked up supplies for the crafts, snacks, and of course more water for us.  We then went to "the land" as they call it (property where they are building the new church house) to deliver some concrete mix.  From there we took a little hike to look at some property 4 lots down where they would like to purchase eventually for the purpose off having a church camp. When we were in town we got our first taste of romanian food when we ate Shoarma, it somewhat reminds me of a pita. It was really delicious, I hope we can get another one before we go home. We were able to rest a little bit before VBS, then we got everything packed and ready and prayed before we  left for VBS.  When to got to Sora Magdalena's house the first thing I noticed is that a lot of the kids were already there.  They started singing and we noticed that we had a few more than yesterday. We counted 48nat first, and then more came so we recounted and came up with 70, wow the only thing we could do to get an accurate count was to count them as they left.  The final number was 75, The Lord blessed us with double what we had the day before.... So what we did was split it up into 4 groups with only 3 stations, I am not sure how that was supposed to work but for 2 rotations it was great, that third rotation with twice as many kids was insane. We felt like we had kids everywhere!!
We weren't quite sure how it was going to work out but it was an adventure that was worth it but definitely wore us out. We were all exhausted after VBS and after cleaning up we went home or at least back to the Manary's for dinner. We happily ate and transitioned  into our devo/testimony time. Philip gave his devotional while Ariella gave  her testimony, it was one of our shorter devo times which ran about 45-50 minutes. Needless to say our devo and testimony time has been a time of tears, laughter, and encouragement for the team as well as the Manarys Then we took some time to restratigize for tomorrow's VBS on how to maintain a level of efficiency with the kids. So we made the changes that we think will be necessary for tomorrow. We were physically drained so we called it an early night and went to bed so that we could be well prepared for the vbs the next morning.  We also have a couple team members dealing with severe allergies and or a cold so getting that rest is important.  Thanks for taking the time to read and of course thank you for your prayers. Looking forward to tomorrow!!!!
